Several Claude accounts, updates that install themselves, images in Claude prompts, a redesigned database console and a floating find bar.
Highlights
- Multiple Claude accounts
- Add extra Claude accounts, pick one per project, and continue a chat on another account when one hits its usage limit. Chat history is shared between accounts.
- Automatic updates
- Kami checks for a new release once a day, downloads and verifies it in the background, and installs it when you restart or quit.
- Images in Claude prompts
- Paste a screenshot or drop images and files on the prompt; images go along as attachments and other files as
@pathmentions. - Redesigned database console
- One toolbar with a real Run button, a table browse mode, a selectable results grid, and a new Add data source dialog.
- Floating find bar
- Find and replace is now a card over the editor with a live match count and a collapsible replace row.
Claude panel
15 changes- Add accounts from a dialog and manage them in Settings ▸ Claude, with Log in, Log in again and sign-out for each account.
- An account menu sits beside mode and model; switching a project’s account moves the idle chat on screen with it, keeping its permission mode and model.
- Each chat, login tab and terminal tab runs on its project’s account, and the views show which account a chat is running on.
- When an account hits its usage limit, a banner says when it resets and offers to continue the chat on another account.
- Removing an account never signs out the wrong one, warns when its folder holds chats outside the shared history, and only unlinks a symlinked folder.
- A deleted account folder is rebuilt before the next chat starts on it.
- The sign-in toast waits until every account has answered.
- Each session keeps its own unsent prompt and attached images, which follow it on Resume or a move to another account, and
⌘Zcan’t bring back another chat’s text. - Paste images into the prompt, or drop image files on the chat; large images are scaled down and TIFF and BMP are converted. A prompt row says how many images went with it.
- The session sidebar groups chats by day (Today, Yesterday, then by date) and has a Pinned section: pin from the right-click menu, a hover button, or by dragging; drag to reorder or unpin.
- The session sidebar gets a title filter and a resizable width, and pinned chats come first in the right-dock picker.
- The titlebar’s Claude icon shows a badge when another session waits on a permission or finished a turn you haven’t seen, and the status chip reads “· finished”.
- New sessions start in Auto permissions instead of Manual.
- A login tab that exits cleanly closes itself; a failed sign-in stays open with its output.
- The panel’s controls and the limit banners wrap instead of running off the edge.
Editor
5 changes⌘/comments lines in CSS, HTML, XML, Markdown and Vue with block comments.- Git blame annotates every line with its author and date, not just the first line of each commit’s run.
- A file edited back to its saved text no longer shows as changed, and a buffer reverted to its original text autosaves right away.
- Split Right and Split Down in the tab menu move the tab instead of duplicating it.
- Squeezed tabs keep a few characters of the name, and hovering a tab shows the full file name.
Git view
10 changes- Sidebar sections (Local, Remotes, Tags, Stashes, Submodules) are resizable, with new icons, count pills, indent guides, ahead/behind pills and an empty state for the filter.
- Rename a local branch from the sidebar menu.
- Hover a branch in the toolbar or sidebar to see its full name.
- A toolbar chip and the commit box show who commits are made as; click either to set the name and email for the repository or globally.
- Staging or unstaging the open file moves on to the next file instead of closing the diff.
- The view opens on the working-tree changes each time you enter it.
- Repository tabs show a dot when their working tree has changes.
- A stash lists its untracked files and a file count; applying or popping it restores its summary to the commit box.
- Stash rows drop the
stash@{n}badge. - The WIP row’s dot connects to HEAD even when newer branch tips sit between them.
Database view
8 changes- Select cells, rows and columns in the results grid and copy them as tab-separated text with
⌘C;⌘Aselects all. - The console has a single toolbar: query tabs on the left, and the schema picker, results placement, open-in-editor and a Run
⌘↵button (with Run script) on the right. Run becomes Stop while a statement runs. - Opening a table folds the editor to a one-line Query bar so the grid fills the column.
- Results tabs show row counts, the filter bar is one compact row, and the footer shows rows, time and Read-only, Partial page and Fetch all chips.
- Numeric columns right-align, NULL shows dimmed, rows highlight on hover, and the Output log shows a status, title and duration per statement.
- The Add data source dialog is redesigned with engine cards, a sectioned form, a collapsible Advanced section, a color tag picker and a connection test card.
- Empty states offer the next step: Add data source, Pick a data source, or New query.
- The Modify, Create and Drop table dialogs get a new header, compact message panels for loading, errors and drop confirmation, and clearer “+ Column”, “+ Index” and “+ FK” buttons.
App
5 changes- Check for Updates… in the app menu, and an
updates.checksetting to turn daily checks off. - A status bar chip offers to restart into a downloaded update.
- Downloaded updates are checked for signature, notarization, team and version before they are installed, and a failed install restores the previous app.
- The titlebar shows the project name on surfaces without the file tree.
- Clickable elements show a pointing-hand cursor, including gutter chevrons, run markers, the breakpoint strip and fold chips.
