Snowflake in the database tools, a Node that Kami manages itself, JavaScript debugging, and better HTML and Vue editing.

Highlights

Snowflake support
Add a Snowflake data source, sign in through your browser with SSO, and browse its schemas.
Managed Node and TypeScript toolchain
Kami can install its own Node and the TypeScript server, so language features work without a system Node. Manage it from the new Node section on the Languages settings tab.
JavaScript debugging
Attach the debugger to a run configuration.
HTML and Vue editing
Fold elements, expand an open tag on Enter, and close a tag when you type </.

Editor

10 changes
  • Dim unused variables and imports.
  • Highlight the caret’s line.
  • Tint the git blame column by commit age; double-click a blame entry to open its commit.
  • ⌘⌫ deletes the line, as in JetBrains.
  • The comment shortcut opens a comment on blank lines.
  • A line copied without a selection flashes.
  • Scroll the tab strip instead of shrinking tabs.
  • New File… in the right-click menu.
  • The scrollbar preview centers on the hovered row of a long change.
  • Fixed arrow-key jumps and a gutter chevron collision, and the last row of a wrapped line now paints.

Code intelligence

5 changes
  • Auto-import a completion when you accept it.
  • Complete project components in a Vue template and import the one you pick.
  • Find usages of exported components in JS/TS trees with no config file.
  • ⌘-click a Less mixin call to jump to its definition through @imports.
  • The TypeScript server gets an 8 GB heap.

Search and navigation

4 changes
  • Global search (⇧⌘F) has Directory and File mask filters, shown as chips on the query row.
  • .claude is left out of ⇧⌘F and ⌘K by default.
  • The palette opens file:line queries at the line, and double-shift seeds the query from the editor selection.
  • ⌃⇥ opens the recent-files switcher.

Git view

5 changes
  • Overhauled commit composer, and a rebuilt “Commit as” dialog.
  • Create a branch from a branch or tag in the sidebar menu.
  • Sidebar sections keep a fixed order, with collapsed sections at the bottom.
  • The commit header text is selectable, and the file list fills the detail panel.
  • Picks up external edits, linked-worktree refs and nested refs.

Database view

4 changes
  • Query output appears in the terminal panel.
  • A table’s data opens in its own tab.
  • Engine logos in the Add data source dialog.
  • The results grid can be closed under the console.

Claude panel

3 changes
  • AskUserQuestion shows as a question card you can answer.
  • Long prompt lines wrap instead of scrolling sideways.
  • The Claude and git panel headers have a close button.

App

5 changes
  • A welcome window opens on first launch.
  • Magic Mouse page swipe goes Back/Forward.
  • Dialogs get a facelift: prompts, workspace search, the palette, and the recent/scratch/reformat dialogs.
  • File explorer: a click selects a folder and a double-click folds it; test files have their own glyph.
  • Clicking “failed — see log” in the status bar opens the log.
